About Young Animator of the Year
Young Animator of the Year (YAY) is a programme run by professional animators to help young people find out more about animation and have fun making short, animated films.
It’s all online and is for everyone and anyone aged 11 – 18 across the UK who is interested in animation. We hope that some of you will consider a career in animation when you leave school or college.
We aim to do this in the most inclusive ways possible, so no one is deprived of the chance to have a fulfilling career in animation.
YAY is supported by the ScreenSkills Animation Skills Fund with contributions from UK animation productions.
