This session is part of the Connect & Inspire strand which offers a variety of sessions, from in-person networking and online roundtables to in-depth case studies, designed to promote the sharing of knowledge and the building of relationships across unscripted TV.
Metavision are an award winning studio and agency for immersive media platforms. They sit at the intersection of virtual worlds and entertainment, building creative strategy and in-game, immersive experiences for brands and entertainment companies. Metavision are part of the ITV Group and have used their position within the broadcasting world to create successful Metaverse experiences for Netflix, Channel 4, ITV, RTL and BBC.
Who it's for
This session is for people working in unscripted TV who are interested in user-generated content (UGC) gaming, new media and broadening their Unreal Engine (UE) toolset.

Ryan Norrington, creative director
Ryan Norrington is an award-winning immersive media creative director. He cut his teeth in the creative world at Mediacom working across various blue-chip clients before moving to Metavision to spearhead the creative department and deliver innovative and cutting edge Metaverse projects IP holders and brands including Timberland, BBC, Versace, WWF and John Lewis. Since joining he has picked up a number of awards for campaigns on Fortnite Creative; one at Media Week and the other at The Drum Digital Industries and has recently guided the team to Best Metaverse Company 2023 at the Drum Awards. Ryan also leads out on Metavision's in-house production capabilities, everything from UEFN to the latest in mocap capabilities.
Ashley Lewis, managing director
Part of the ITV Group, Metavision sits at the intersection of virtual worlds and entertainment, where Ashley leads a team which has been building creative strategy and in-game, virtual experiences for brands, entertainment companies and IP holders. Ashley leads the business from a strategic and operational perspective, whilst defining Metavision's overarching vision and goals. At Metavision's helm, Ashley has contributed to wider thought leadership in the industry and brought more attention to the opportunities and benefits of brands and IP holders activating in the UGC gaming and immersive media platforms such as Fortnite, Roblox and Minecraft.
