Unscripted TV encompasses a wide range of TV genres including: documentaries, factual, factual entertainment and entertainment programmes, as well as sport, news and current affairs.

This demystifying unscripted TV production event will lift the lid on what it’s like to work in unscripted TV production and what’s happening locally.

Our panel of industry professionals will discuss:

  • How the production process works from development through pre-production, production and post-production to transmission.
  • The roles on offer and the skills needed.
  • Where the entry points to the industry are.
  • What the current opportunities are locally.

This ScreenSkills event is hosted by Alison Grade, CEO, Mission Accomplished and author of The Freelance Bible. Alison will be joined by a panel of local industry professionals who will share their expertise and insights into the world of unscripted TV production, including:

We will start promptly at 6pm so we recommend that you sign in at 5.50pm so you can test your equipment and we can admit you into the session on time.

Who it's for

This session is recommended for anyone who is interested in knowing more about and working in unscripted TV production in London & South/South East.

This part of a series of national and regional events, others open for bookings include  the North West, Northern Ireland, the North & North East, the East, and the Midlands.

This session is supported by the ScreenSkills Unscripted TV Skills Fund which invests in training for the unscripted workforce thanks to contributions from broadcasters, SVoDs and production companies.
