All television professionals must understand the best practice and important legislation governing working on set or in studio with under 18s.

Across two sessions in one day, Alison Cresswell and Grand Scheme Media present a walkthrough of the essential knowledge you need to be more confident in production.

The course is delivered in two parts. It includes detail on regional differences in licensing, the benefits of working with chaperones, children's hours, policing crew behaviour, jigsaw identification, post care and managing the emotional needs of children.

The second features experts from the world of production who provide added insight to working with Under 18s.

The course is relevant for those working in both scripted and unscripted. It will be of benefit for those who have not worked with children before and more experienced media professionals who need a refresher course. If you're working at exec level, you may prefer to attend this more specific session.

We recommend you attend both parts of the course but applications are seperate for each part to allow flexibility if you cannot attend both on the same day.
