A programme of Movie Magic budgeting courses run by Grand Scheme Media and delivered by Addie Orfila  will be delivered across the United Kingdom in 2024 to enable professionals working in film and high-end television to get a better understanding of the essential software used for budgeting on high-end TV and film productions.

This programme is fully funded by the ScreenSkills High-end Television and Film Skills Funds made up of contributions from high-end television productions and films made in the UK.

This programme is also supported by Entertainment Partners.

Who it's for

This training is open to people already in the industry who are  working or moving over to work in film and/ or high-end TV as production managers, ADs, production accountants and line producers and have yet to get to grips with Movie Magic budgeting software.

Trainees will be given access to Movie Magic training licenses and subscriptions and will need to install the relevant Movie Magic software on a laptop which should be brought to the training session.

We always welcome applications from under-represented groups, including, but not limited to: those from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds; people with a disability; people from the LGBTQ+ community and those from lower socio-economic backgrounds.

We offer inclusive training. If you have any needs which we can accommodate during the recruitment process and beyond, please let us know and we will be happy to work with you to meet them.
