The Select Sessions are a series of online employability training sessions for students studying on ScreenSkills Select endorsed courses. They provide you with professional advice on a range of topics direct from industry and focus on supporting you to gain the best opportunity for a successful career in the screen industries.
ScreenSkills has a series of e-learning modules on Getting into the screen industries which are a prerequisite for attending any Select Session event.
Who it's for
This online session is exclusively for ScreenSkills Select students interested in careers in film and TV.
We are also running sessions for those interested in careers in games, animation and VFX and you can explore the full programme on the Select Student Hub.

- Do you want to know how best you can prepare?
- Do you wish you knew what a winning interview looks like?
Fasten your seat belts and get ready for this one-hour intensive role-play webinar. Our ‘interviewer’ and ‘interviewee’ will use role play to simulate a typical TV interview. They’ll act out the terrible and the terrific. The session will shed light on the different types of interviews, typical questions, response frameworks, etiquette, the difference between online and in-person and how to follow up on an interview.
This ScreenSkills Select Employability session is delivered by Mission Accomplished, who will be joined by a panel of industry professionals:

How to apply
This session will take place online via Zoom. Click ‘Get ticket’ and follow the instructions to book your place: you must login or register before you are able to complete your booking.
If you are no longer able to attend, we ask you to please use the 'cancel your ticket' function on the right hand side of the page so that we can release your place to somebody else.
