Are you a production coordinator looking to make your next move? Or do you work in locations or as a 2nd AD and need a new challenge?

ScreenSkills’ high-end TV step up to production manager programme 2024 will tell you all you need to know about being a production manager.

Experienced production manager Imogen Gay (Top Boy) will lead the course, supported by line producer Katie Player (Call the Midwife). Together they will cover the nuts and bolts of this complex and dynamic role. One key focus will be managing people and effectively resolving conflicts.

Participants will also take part in Q&As with heads of department and other key crew to learn more about the demands production managers face.

At the end of the training, ScreenSkills high-end TV Skills Fund will  endeavour to find 15 funded placements for participants who complete the course.

The course, designed to fit in with busy working schedules, is delivered fully online over weekends and evenings with video catch-up available for the weeknight Q&A’s (all Saturday sessions must be attended online).

The programme is supported by the ScreenSkills High-end TV Skills Fund with contributions from UK high-end TV productions made in the UK. The training course is being delivered by thecallsheet.co.uk & The Production Training Company.
