The all in one, end-to-end 2D animation software; Toon Boom Harmony is a long established, feature rich animation tool utilised in many international productions. The software allows animators to create paperless and cut-out animation in a range of styles. In this course we’ll be taking production rigs into scenes to produce approvable character animations and getting to grips with the range of features that can be used to make a project shine.
Leading on from our Toon Boom rigging course, this one week intensive training will help you master the animation tools of this software ready for your next big project or new role. In addition to using the timeline and Xsheet functionality we’ll be looking at: scene set up, drawing tools, deformers, node based compositing, lighting, effects and rendering.
We’ll focus on acting skills, with plenty of input and guidance from an industry experienced animator, with designs aimed at both pre-school and older audiences. Finally, we’ll be creating short scenes that push the animator (and their newfound skills) to that sweet-spot between creativity and technical know-how.
