Toon Boom animation training: Introduction to Rigging
Are you passionate about animation? Elevate your skills and career prospects with our professional Toon Boom animation training courses tailored for individuals aged 18 and above.
For 30 years, Toon Boom artists have produced some of the most memorable productions ever made. Toon Boom animation software helps artists and studios worldwide to tell their stories in any style of animation, creatively and efficiently from indie productions to major feature films for the big or the small screen.
ScreenSkills and Animation Associates are running three of these courses, with this second one focused on Introduction to Rigging. For the courses on Cut Out Animation and Technical Direction, please follow the links.
Led by Toon Boom's Senior Solutions Specialist this course focuses on assessing production needs and constructing standard rigs using Harmony Premium's nodal system. Ideal for artists new to rigging, participants will master deformers, masks, and optimized drawing tools, building essential skills for studio productions.
This training initiative is supported by the ScreenSkills Animation Skills Fund, with contributions from UK animation productions.
Who it's for
These three courses are designed for individuals in or aspiring to join the animation industry, offering technical knowledge essential for excelling in the field.
Introduction to Rigging is intended for professional artists with a proven track record and production credits who are new to rigging in Harmony but have a knowledge of rigging in other digital animation tools and want to learn the fundamentals of constructing character rigs for studio productions. (Early/Experienced)
