  • Are you looking to bolster your technical skillset in unscripted TV and widen your work opportunities?

This brand-new intensive training programme delivered by The Kit Room in how to data wrangle could be the ideal opportunity for you to add a specialist feather to your cap.

The field of data management is highly technical and often overlooked – but absolutely crucial to any production. Starting with the fundamentals of data management and workflow, you’ll leave this course with full confidence to manage all media, how to support multi camera crews, whilst providing clear and transparent reports to the postproduction facility.

This course will provide you with the technical knowhow to foresee and overcome technical issues and provide you with skills to manage expectations of the departments you’ll be working with in the role.

Taught by hugely experienced DITS, the training will include a full weekend of in-person training and practical exercises, followed by online sessions covering kit awareness and maintenance, and an understanding of the postproduction workflow and responsibilities of this highly underrated, but crucial role.

This training programme is funded by the ScreenSkills Unscripted TV Skills Fund which invests in training for the unscripted workforce thanks to contributions from broadcasters, SVoDs and production companies.
