About
With a background in finance and a passion for TV and film, Michaela decided to move into the industry in 2021 and was accepted on to the NFTS diploma in production accounting for film and television and joined the independent feature Aftersun as one of the accountants. Since then, she has worked in accounts on a variety of film and television shows, with her most recent credit as assistant accountant on The Rig Series 2. She is thrilled to be a HETV Leader of Tomorrow, and excited to build quality professional relationships across all departments and for the unique learning and career opportunities the programme will afford.
Leaders of Tomorrow is a three-year inclusion programme for mid-level professionals. Participants are nominated by senior colleagues in high-end TV. Michaela’s nominator Kathleen Lambie said: "For me, Michaela has many of the attributes that I would like to see in a leader. She is considerate, attentive and works hard to achieve best practice. In accounts, she is aware of the human side of transactions. With the support of Leaders of Tomorrow, she can progress her journey to continue to be a positive influence in the teams that she works with."
