I am an award winning writer and director based in London, with a background in video art (Graduating from The Glasgow School of Art, 2008) I have directed promos and documentaries for clients including The National Wildlife Trust, Armani, DKNY and Atlantic Records.
I graduated with an MA with Distinction from The London Film School in 2013, with my film THE INTERPRETER, which has been nominated for several awards, long-listed for the BAFTA Short Film Award 2015 and awarded ‘Best Student Short’, as well as receiving a Special Mention for 'Best Woman Director' at last year’s London Short Film Festival.
My documentary SILVER RAILS (following Jack Bruce recording his final record at Abbey Road Studios) has been licensed by the BBC and my feature length international collaboration UNDOCUMENT (a series of character driven dramas exploring the complex theme of illegal immigration; set in Iran, Greece and England) is premiering at The East End Film Festival, 2016. I am currently co-directing an experimental documentary TRAITORS (about people who refused to fight in the 1990's Balkan War) chosen for Go East Film Fest Development Program, am in pre-production for my next short STAUNCH, which has been selected by European Short Pitch, as well as writing the feature THE COCKATOO INN (a comedy road movie based on the themes of female friendship and misplaced guilt) selected for Zagreb Film Fest Script Workshop.
