About
I am a dedicated Hair and Makeup artist who has worked on a variety of different productions in both Film and Television
Over the past several years I have gained experience being part of main team and working crowd looking after both main cast and supporting artists on both period and contemporary projects; I am skilled in wig prep and styling, natural hairstyling and hair laying for facial hair. I have additional training in barbering, afro hair styling, and male grooming. I also have some experience with knotting wigs.
I am very familiar and comfortable with tracking and logging continuity, standing by on set, doing breakdowns of scripts and managing expenses. During lockdown I have taken part in a number of Screenskills and BECTU online courses to continue to improve as a professional artist.
Additional skills of mine include period and breakdown makeup, bloodwork, and prosthetic application and colouring; skills which I have developed during my time working on Vera and Anansi Boys as well in my own time.
