Tim Jolly has worked as Assistant Location Manager since 2020 after making a career shift from being Heathrow Airport's in house filming manager, and a tour manager in the music industry.

He has a keen eye for scouting creative briefs and has been able to secure access to challenging and unique locations, including: Cuba in Margate; an entire north London rail transport hub during lockdown; changing UK airspace for an airside shoot at Britain’s busiest airport; and not least, securing Southwark film office’s largest ever parking dispensation.

He enjoys working with a diverse team, managing the wants and needs of a creative process, and wants to be the best leader he can be.

Tim’s aim is to step-up to location manager in the next 12 months and develop a broader understanding of the production and creative management processes.

Tim is currently a HETV Leader of Tomorrow. Participants in the three-year inclusion programme for mid-level professionals are nominated by senior colleagues in high-end TV. His nominator Paul Tomlinson said: "Tim is a perfect fit for the programme given he arrived in the world of locations from a different career background, which provides him with a unique perspective of the industry and the role of locations. He also has a strong appreciation of the positives that come with continually developing skills within the industry and learning as a locations professional.

His patient yet determined approach to career progression means he is ready to take the next step and I have no doubt he will prove to be an ideal participant during his time with the programme."
