Away from work I enjoy spending time with my family, outdoor swimming, running and regularly take part in organised races, such as the Bath Half Marathon and Tough Mudder.

A Private & NHS Dental Practice based in the village of Chew Magna outside Bristol, specialising in family and cosmetic dentistry. Responsibilities and achievements: Support the practice principal to generate revenue and ensure business targets are achieved. Ensure the administration and client appointments are up to date maximising efficient use of time in the practice. Facilities management and negotiating on costs with suppliers. Oversee and support the team using the CRM & database systems Providing reception cover and oversee the smooth operation of the front desk and the patient journey. Work alongside external agencies to design and organise marketing activities such as advertising campaigns and web design. Responsible for organising and developing patient communication Manage staff communication and team meetings. Ensure IT and dental equipment is up to date, regularly serviced and operating efficiently. Maintain financial and audit systems for both NHS and private practice. Undertake HR duties in respect to recruitment, induction, appraisals and CPD. Retention of existing patients including complaints procedure. Secure revenue by chasing debtors and facilitating finance payment plans. Organisation of dental compliance with regards to COVID 19 and ongoing responsibility for the Care Quality Commission standards of the practice.

NTT are a private sector company who specialise in fundraising for many of the UK’s leading charities. I was recruited by NTT in March 2004 as a Senior Account Manager and was responsible for key fundraising campaigns for charities such as WaterAid, Save the Children and Acorns Children’s Hospice. Responsibilities and achievements: Develop relationships with key clients. Design fundraising campaigns from inception to final analysis. Communicate through regular meetings and presentations. Implement and complete projects within agreed timescales. Lead within a team environment to deliver service standards. Maximise the revenue generated on behalf of our clients.

Computershare are a global leader in administering Corporate Employee Share Plans, Profit Sharing Schemes, Executive Bonus Awards and Share Incentive Plans. I joined the Plan Managers department of Computershare as a Corporate Business Manager in December 2001. Responsibilities and achievements: Establish & project manage a streamlined service tailored around the needs of our clients. Liaise with a variety of internal and external agencies / departments to ensure the plan launched to budget and within the agreed timescales. Analyse, organise and distribute confidential employee information. Introduce new employee benefit services to existing clients.

BA (Hons) 2:1 European Business (with German)
BA (Hons) European Business (with German), Nottingham Trent University, 2:1 The course covered Organisational Behaviour, International Business Law, Marketing and Human Resources along with other areas of business. I took the opportunity to spend a year in Germany, at Paderborn University and the HR Department of NCR (who are still a world leader in point of sale software and ATMs) in Augsburg where I spoke German fluently. I also worked in the International Centre at Bristol University, whilst studying.
