Workforce and Training Manager
• Onboard and train new staff into the Organising Committee’s Villages team during the planning phase of the games. • Design the training plan for inductions and create all induction material for onboarding • Training logistics; booking of training space, training schedule, booking equipment and monitoring attendance • Coordinate applications with our recruitment agency (CV reviewing, shortlisting applicants and interviewing) • Coordinated the venue specific training for over 400 volunteers and paid staff at the athlete village in the lead up to the games, from conception and planning through to its execution. This included specific content, spatial planning, and logistics for 8 teams in the one venue. • Deliver role specific training to volunteers at the athlete village, preparing them for their games time role. • Roster volunteers and paid staff for the duration of the games based on business needs • Coordinate and manage all games time workforce in the athlete village during the games. Including the checking in of all workforce, distribution of meal vouchers and reward and recognition items, conducting welfare checks for workforce and overall providing support when needed.
