About
Hello! I'm an illustrator and graphic designer, with a BA (Hons) in Illustration. My other previous training includes the BFI VFX residential course, where I worked on a collaborative short film, and Annie Atkins' 'Design for Filmmaking' course, where I travelled to Dublin to learn the art of creating graphic props.
I've recently been onboarded as a ScreenSkills HETV art department trainee for the 2024/25 intake. I'm particularly eager to work in graphics, but I'm happy to contribute to any and all areas within the art department! Currently, I am working as an Assistant Art Director on BBC's EastEnders.
I have a full clean UK driver's license and a car (23+), and I'm open to travel or relocate for work. I'm excited to continue working in the art department and contribute where I can, so please take a look at my portfolio to see if I'm the right fit for your next project!

Work Experience: VFX / Post-Production Runner
During my one-week work experience at Black Kite Studios, I delved into the intricacies of studio operations. I not only gained valuable insights into the functioning of a post-production studio, but also had the opportunity to participate in Q&A sessions with industry professionals across various departments. These sessions included discussions with producers, VFX artists, 3D artists, 3D animators, 2D animators, and more. Outside of these sessions, I contributed in fulfilling running duties within the studio.

Workshop: Graphic Design For Filmmaking
On this course, I travelled to Dublin to learn how graphic props are made for film and TV. From this, I learned the foundations from which to create my own graphic prop projects, and got a good overall understanding of the art and graphics department. This included script analysis, legal considerations, and how different roles in the department collaborate.

Course: Animation and VFX
On this week-long residential course, I collaborated with a team to create a short film where I played a key role in design and project management. During the course, I also attended and contributed to idea pitch sessions, developed my animation skills and received guidance on how to work as a freelancer. This experience has overall helped me improve my collaboration, communication, research, and analytical skills.
