I am a proactive, self sufficient and resourceful Junior Production Manager with experience in live studio, pre recorded and OB factual and religious television production. An enthusiastic and highly motivated employee who is always willing to take on new challenges with a conscientious and creative approach, and a real team player who is happy to multitask between production and editorial tasks and deliver upon what is asked. Songs of Praise - February 2021 to Present Overseeing the production of multiple episodes at one time from pre through to post production, including programme delivery, by balancing different demands and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines. Handling complex travel logistics including booking a large and varied amount of travel and accommodation for a shoot on a small, isolated island and adapting to the challenges that arose as crew fed them back. Working closely with a large variety of high profile talent and their agents. Organising child licenses with different local authorities at short notice. Helping to train new and junior members of the production team. Worked on fast turnaround output following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, liaising closely with the editorial team to handle last minute logistics, clear tricky archive and organise a line delivery where necessary.

‘For Love or Money’ Series 2, BBC Studios - July to December 2020 Flagged potential risks and provided possible solutions to my production manager ahead of filming so that appropriate steps could be actioned in safety briefings and risk assessments during Covid 19 outbreak. Negotiated costs to arrange a safe and functional filming space for the multi camera reveals & links shoot with talent and contributors. Booked and purchased kit, organised the ingest process with digital technicians, liaised with remote loggers for the timely transcription of rushes and adjusted to last minute edit priority requests at short notice. Assisted with the online and offline edit by preparing metadata forms and providing blur recommendations. ‘Rip off Britain’ Series 12a, BBC Studios - January to May 2020 Managed the logistics of a crew of 50+ people on location for the annual ‘Pop Up Shop’ including hiring crew, line managing runners and loggers, organising location permits and scheduling talent availability and travel. Delegated archive requests from edit producers to the digital technicians and sought clearance for archive where necessary by asking for advice from Business Affairs and thoroughly examining post production paperwork. ‘Live Worship’ 2019/2020, BBC Studios - November to December 2019 Balanced the planning of three OB productions during public holidays by liaising with various prestigious church clergy as well as contractors and large numbers of crew members and distributing thorough OB tech reqs. ‘Rip off Britain Live’ Series 6B, BBC Studios - August to November 2019 Multitasked to organise complex live studio and location call sheets for multiple teams across the UK with a keen attention to detail, adapting and re-working schedules at short notice to fit in with the situation at hand. Balanced tight budgets by accurately forecasting expenditure in a cost log, tracking production spending and regularly reporting this back to the production manager during budget reviews. Mentored a work experience candidate by managing their time and setting tailored objectives and tasks and supported Production Team Assistants with stepping up and coordinating shoots.

‘Rip Off Britain’ 11A & 11B, March & June to August 2019 ‘Rip Off Britain LIVE’ S6A, April to May 2019 ‘Food: Truth or Scare’ S4, October 2018 to February 2019 Liaised with contributors, guests and experts during pre recorded and studio production to organise the logistics of shoots, including specific requirements for transport and accommodation. Worked closely with the Assistant Producer and Studio Floor Manager on the studio floor during live TX to deliver incoming e-mails and comments on cue cards to the presenters under pressure and in a timely manner. Placated members of the crew and contributors when problems occurred with transportation and fed this back to the vendor to resolve issues quickly and effectively. Complied with GDPR laws when working across the mail bag system, logging, filing and disposing of letters to assist the editorial team, as well as filing and logging release forms to ensure all contributors, locations and materials were suitably cleared for broadcast. Cleared and re-organised props storage creating a functional inventory for ease of access. Worked closely with talent on location during links shoots when operating autocue, ensuring that scripts were kept to appropriate speeds by paying careful and close attention to the action both on and around set. Sourced challenging props and locations in various parts of the UK, including negotiating access to film with national brands and supplying over 250 pieces of burnt toast with less than a day’s notice for filming.
