About
Ayden Millar is an Art Director based in Glasgow, Scotland. She graduated with a BA in Technical and Production Arts from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2010. The focus of Ayden’s work is in HETV Drama, however she also has extensive experience in Children’s, studio based Light Entertainment, Commercials, Music Videos and Docudrama. Ayden has experience working abroad, and has filmed in Morocco and Malta.
Ayden has hosted various speaking events and training workshops including BAFTA Scotland: Career Close Up, BAFTA Guru Live, BECTU Vision: Careers Behind the Scenes, Glasgow Film Festival: International Women's Day panel, Edinburgh Screen HETV Inspire Sessions, Royal Conservatiore of Scotland: Fair Access X Creative Conversations, GMAC Film: Screen Start Commissioning Scheme, and GMAC's Art Department Masterclass for Glasgow University.
In 2019, Ayden was mentored under the Screenskills HETV Make A Move Scheme, while Art Directing “The Nest” for BBC & Studio Lambert. She is currently part of the 2022 - 2025 cohort of Screenskills "Leaders Of Tomorrow" programme - a three year mentorship to help train and elevate her into Supervising Art Director roles.
