I am a recent graduate of Staffordshire University, studying Film, Television and Radio. I am passionate about media production and hope to one day develop and run my own scripted series. I work well both in a team and individually, being able to keep to strict, tight deadlines and encourage healthy communication amongst my peers.

I have experience in both live and pre-recorded Television production, having worked closely with my University's Television society. I even earned the opportunity to take a leadership role over a project, which was a great success.

   This Degree allowed me to gain experience in a variety of different areas of Media Production from across the industry. I participated in a mixture of both practical and theoretical modules, all of which required strict attention to detail and researching skills. I was involved in numerous productions in a multitude of roles such as camera and lighting operation, location scouting and screenwriting. In choosing to continue my studies during the pandemic, I needed to find creative solutions to comply with the strict restrictions covid enforced, this involved working with social distancing and through the medium of zoom. I took a particular interest in screenwriting whilst studying, as it is a skill I have been honing since before I started University. I wrote several scripts whilst studying, both for my degree and in my own time, and took every opportunity to gain constructive feedback from my mentors. I also made frequent use of the University's Radio equipment, allowing me to gain experience in both presenting and in the accurate setting up, and usage, of audio equipment in a radio show. I graduated in 2022 with a First.
