About
I believe the creative industry is one of the most ambitious and ground-breaking areas of work globally today, with the production of film and tv standing out as having a great impact on the lives of people everywhere. This is a field I am incredibly interested in pursuing, as someone who appreciates the gratification of creating something bigger out of a simple idea.
I have experience with stage production having been part of an amateur theatre group for 2 years, as well as by studying GCSE Drama. Through these I have been able to act in various productions, such as Annie, and Beowulf, as well as having the experience of directing, helping write productions, and set design.
I am currently studying English Literature, Art and Design, and History A Levels, from which I have gained skills of critical analysis, working through a production process, and group collaboration on various research tasks. The impact that media and writing has on society has thus become very appealing to me, and I am aspiring to have a career which involves this.
As a fan of many tv shows and films, I have had stories and characters influence me from a very young age, and so appreciate the process of this creative industry, which brings art from an idea, to an outcome.
