Experience
-
Operations Intern
• Mobilised customer service skills when establishing relations with staff across various departments to understand colleagues' needs and provide tailored support. I strived to ensure that as many employees as possible knew my name so I could be easily approached if any errand or task needed completion. • Utilised organisational and administrative skills when updating office stock lists, transporting and storing props and managing in-house camera equipment. This helped to ensure a clean and functional space supplied with the requisite equipment for effective and smooth workflow.
-
Development Researcher Intern
• Demonstrated adaptability by quickly understanding a diverse range of topics when undertaking historical and scientific research in line with requirements briefed by the Development team. Research centred on the discovery of clips, the unearthing of potential events of interest for filming, location sourcing and crafting summaries of historical and scientific phenomena. • Displayed strong organisational and literary skills when presenting research findings and my derived proposals within documents for colleagues, ensuring the easy transfer of information to Pitch Decks. • Utilised organisation skills to successfully complete pre-production tasks such as location hunting and creating production documents. • I attended brainstorming meetings with company figures such as Head of Documentaries Richard Klein, an exercise that was very informative as to how Commissions must factor in the commercial requirements dictated by the broader production industry and leverage the strengths of their in-house departments pertinent to all stages of production to maximize the chances of success for a commission and ensure the best product possible. • Followed strict confidentiality requirements when handling commercially valuable material.
-
Post-Production Office Runner Cover shift
• In this one-day stint, I stepped in to cover for the operations team in Splice’s post-production offices. I displayed adaptability and initiative, swiftly familiarising myself with the office space and editing suites. I seamlessly integrated into the operations team, cultivating positive relationships with fellow staff to facilitate smooth communication and execution of a diverse set of tasks. • Demonstrated excellent hospitality and customer service skills when preparing and serving refreshments for company clients and media personalities. • Showcased strong organisational skills when managing in-house edit suites to ensure clients could enhance their workflow efficiency.
