Production Assistant/Runner

Full clean driver’s licence with own vehicle

I'm a 21 year old aspiring assistant director who is hardworking, passionate, reliable and confident. With experience of multiple different roles as a runner; set pa, lock off pa and trainee runner. I have proven to be a helpful and positive asset to a crew as I have strong organisational skills and work effectively under time constraints. I keep a cheerful and enthusiastic attitude when working and keen to take on any task.

1. Lock Off PA

   I worked as a Lock-Off PA for Barbie. I had to ensure the cast and crew were being taken care of and while shooting I was given an allocated area to maintain quiet stopping vehicles and machinery. I was able to shadow the set PAs and help them in their allocated tasks

2. Set PA

   I worked on with the second unit for Meg 2 as a daily. Some of my responsibilities were: · Carrying equipment to and from sets · Assisted in preparing for shoot · Standing by and ensuring area is clear when using the drone · Passing on messages · Getting cast and crew food and drink

3. Lock Off PA

   I worked with the main unit for Meg 2 helping them with locking off areas while filming. This gave me a good insight into how productions are run. Some of my responsibilities were: · Made sure nearby cranes and machinery were switched off during filming · Looked after crew by ensuring they had food and drinks · Carrying and fetching equipment

4. Trainee Runner

   I shadowed runners who had been working on the whole duration of filming. Learning and picking up skills and techniques required for being a good and reliable runner.
