Multi award winning programme maker with many years producing prime time factual programmes across a range of genres, including specialist factual, science, history, current affairs and docs.

I'm an experienced producer and director used to coming to a project straight after commission and setting up from green light right through to final delivery. As well as series, I work on many one offs without an SP. I'm experienced at negotiating access with world class organisations, preparing shooting schedules, setting up shoots home and abroad and shooting on location both PSC and multi cam. I have lots of experience sourcing contributors and casting, working with big name talent, writing commissioning, editorial and TX documents, writing running orders and scripts and preparing risk assessments. I have an excellent understanding of editorial compliance, risk, legal and copyright issues.

I have a great instinct for story and can identify clear narratives. I'm used to processing large amounts of new and sometimes complex information and have made programmes across all kinds of subjects including engineering, social history, human biology and classical music.

I've spent many hours in the cutting room making everything from 30" promos to 90' debate shows but mainly factual 30's and 60's. I've run multiple edits and have taken several series through final post including online, dubs and VO records with talent. I've re-versioned for worldwide, prepared material for marketing and press.

I'm used to managing production teams and crews large and small and developing talent within the team. I've worked with a range of contributors including, academics, experts, the general public and children as well as big name presenters including Dr Michael Mosley, Gareth Malone, Professor Robert Winston, Sir Terry Wogan, Giles Coren & Lauren Laverne.

I've set up shoots and shot all over the world including USA, China, Middle East & South America. I have experience working in hazardous environments & am fully hostile environment trained. I've produced many complex & difficult programmes over the years and I run a safe and smooth production on time and on budget.
