About
I am Ava Galli, Writer / Director of Safie (2023), Soul-Bird (2022) and False Prophet (2022).
I have recently just graduated at UWE Bristol Filmmaking BA (HONS) and am now at entry level in the industry looking for jobs in the Art Department and AD Department.
I have been writing and directing for some time but only just come into my own. I recently developed my own filmmaking identity under the company Almighty Aphrodite Productions which I Chief Exec with Thalia Leonard. I focus on creating a fresh feminist approach to the fantasy genre often inspired by mythology and folklore. My most recent project, Safie, is an ode to Mary Shelley, a great heroine of mine, and so I wish to continue bringing phenomenal women's stories to the screen.
