In 2018, Adil was accepted into the National Youth Film Academy as a director, and has since then directed multiple shorts, promos and music videos, with a focus on colour and telling stories with a sense of hyper reality.
His most recent short "To the Moon" (2021) was commissioned by New Creatives North and funded by BBC Arts and Arts Council England.
