About
For me at the heart of everything I work on is sharing people’s stories, from all walks of life, including those in vulnerable circumstances. I have extensive casting experience and am skilled at building relationships with people from all walks of life. I believe that a great show allows audiences a glimmer into another world, to walk in someone else’s shoes, to open their eyes to something new around them. I am a strong access producer working in sensitive situations, I have experience gaining tricky access and trust with vulnerable and sensitive contributors. One of my greatest strengths is finding compelling characters who allow me to share their stories and give them a genuine voice on screen. My sensitive and instinctive approach and ability to build trust has allowed me to successfully negotiate and maintain difficult access to institutions, communities and individuals and successfully manage large teams. My extensive experience working in challenging editorial and legal situations in high risk, rapidly changing circumstances helps me to find ways of getting even the most difficult stories on air. I am a creative writer who has experience in fully developing ideas from start to pitch. I have well versed experience in legal and compliance, responsible for participants duty of care during and after filming ensuring participants mental well-being and safeguarding are considered and supported throughout. I also have a keen eye for detail and an active problem solver. TRC Supersizer Development Exec scheme 2020/2021.
