Trainee Narrative Designer
I worked as a trainee narrative designer with Aardman's Games and Interactive Team, on Wallace and Gromit The Grand Getaway VR adventure. My work included writing and editing dialogue and scripts (with a focus on the signature Wallace and Gromit comedic tone), creating lore for varying creatures, evaluating puzzles and gameplay with game directors as well creating user flows and working with voice artists. I have contributed to development meetings, seen the in-headset game take shape, took notes on script changes, and gained many more foundational skills needed for a career as a narrative designer.

Resident Content Creator
I wrote content for Rife Magazine, as part of The Future Is Collective. I pitched, wrote, edited, and published two articles on the theme of community. One article was on my family history and my hometown, the other on TikTok and how it is far more than just a dance app. This role has also involved mentoring and professional development. https://www.rifemagazine.co.uk/

First Class Bachelors Degree Creative and Professional Writing
Throughout my time at UWE, I took part in detailed three-year modules in fiction, non-fiction, copywriting, and scriptwriting. I learnt to write content and copy in a variety of styles from articles, advertisements, from listicles to product bios. I wrote scripts in a wide range of genres such as soap operas, dystopian, real-world dramas, and short film. As well as improving on my written skills, I also learnt how to respond to a brief, how to work to a tight deadline, how to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
