He holds a Bachelor's Degree from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge. His professional journey began as a financial analyst at Ernst & Young and later at The Hyatt Corporation. Throughout his finance career, Philippe maintained a strong connection to the art world by hosting events for artists in both the United States and Europe. His involvement in the secondary art market eventually opened the door to the possibility of merging his passion for art with his business acumen. This pivotal moment led to the establishment of HG Contemporary, known for its groundbreaking exhibitions, including the inaugural 2014 group exhibition featuring artist RETNA.
