He uses perspective, light, and shade to create his paintings. He has a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from Rutgers University-Newark School of Arts and Sciences.
In his paintings, he usually concentrates on capturing the essence of nature in a realistic manner. He is also able to use symbolism in his work in order to create an impact. He uses colors and forms in a variety of ways. He has also published a lot of academic works.
What makes Rajesh Saggi's paintings simple is the way he begins by drawing out a diagram or sketch and filling in the blanks. He then begins adding color, using a variety of techniques, such as freehand, pencil, and watercolor. After the details have been filled in, he adds color. By utilizing light and shade, he can create an effect that is unique to his paintings. His paintings may take anywhere from two months to two years to complete.
