Hannah Rose Caton is a writer who thrives on creating dramatic pieces, with women of colour at the helm of the narrative. Her scripts are multi generational and heartfelt, often exploring characters who have led layered, interesting and complex lives, thematically embodied in exploring identity, love, family, race and redemption. Her play Leilah was recently shortlisted for the Alfred Fagon Award for playwrights of Caribbean and/or African descent and selected for the long-list ETPEP Award. She has a Liberal Arts Degree, majoring in Drama (Acting) from The Juilliard School in New York. At Juilliard, Hannah also studied playwriting and supported the growth of new work with new playwrights at festivals at Juilliard and in Regional Theatres in America. As a writer, Hannah is currently developing a variety of original projects. She is the Founder of Perception Pathway Films.

Hannah has also performed in a number of acclaimed films such as BFI’s The Falling and Last Knights (now on Netflix). Oscar winning film editor, Mark Sanger commented that Hannah's performance was 'phenomenal'. Recently, she worked with the acclaimed director Luke Sheppard, playing the role of Sophie Neveu in the stage adaptation of The Da Vinci Code.
