Rowan Wallace is a freelance filmmaker based in Bristol ,UK.

He is currently studying a BA (HONS) Filmmaking production degree course with Boomsatsuma in Bristol. on this course he is working on creating short film, handling film equipment and . He is hoping to pursue this as a career and find a job in the film industry whether it is working on short film's to TV productions both inside a studio or out on location.

While he owns and operates a LumixFZ330 for photography and BTS videography use, he has also been able to collect a range of production equipment from customisable slates to camera rigs which are available for hire to help assist production shoots. Experience

  1. Floor Runner and Art Dept Runner

    Happy Hour Productions · Feb 2024 - Feb 2024

    Floor runner at BYS2 (Bottle Yard Studios 2) with Happy Hour Productions for Pure cremation TVC for a week. A few days working with the art department (Rosy Thompson who worked on hot fuzz and shaun of the dead) set dress the sets, and the rest of the week working with the production team as a floor runner. (last couple of days back with art to help clear and clean the studio)

  2. 1st AC and Clapper Loader

    1st AC on the GRAD II production of ‘HALLOWED EARTH’ directed by Allie Quinn and DOP by Cole Oakley. This short was made as apart of our final year film of university, making sure that we shot this short as professional as possible and using industry standard kit. For this production we travelled up to a small village 20 miles outside of Swindon to shoot over a course of a week and one day in Bristol. I was able to work very close to the camera to help rig and de rig, slate, set up camera and lighting. This film stars Nicolaus Lumley (known for his roles in “Paddington 2” and Channel 4’s “Screwed”) and was shot using the Red Helium Camera

  3. 1st AC

    Bristol Collaborative Arts · May 2024 - May 2024

    1st AC with University of Bristol's partnered with Bristol collaborative arts for the short film production of ‘Playing House’. This was shot over two days on location inside of a student house and I was able to assist the DOP directly with camera rigging setups, and lighting. This film was later screened at a local screening in Bristol for Bristol Collaborative arts.

  4. 2nd AC / Clapper Loader

    2nd AC (Daily) for the GRAD II production of ‘Serendipity’ a final university short film directed by Evie Teller and Jade Birchall, and DOP work by Lucy Wallis. I was able to communicate effectively with both the DOP and the 1st AC to focus, frame and set up each shot. For the day I was on set we were shooting in the Galleries in Bedminster in a small book shot that was standing in for a library.

  5. Art assistant / 1st AC

    Art assistant and 1st AC on the GRAD II production of ‘Sweet escape’ another university final film directed by Katie Boyes and DOP work by Sam Offer. I was able to help dress the set the day before filming inside the studio making sure that the set was dressed as best as possible. I also provided my assistance to mark each shot, swing lenses, and to set up shoulder rigs and dolly tracks.
