About

I have 8 years of experience in the Costume Department, working predominately as a Costume Supervisor for film and TV and a buyer in HETV. My recent credits include Costume Supervisor, Miss Austen (BBC), Costume Supervisor, Witchfinder (BBC), Costume Supervisor, Fisherman’s Friend’s: One and All (FRED Films) and Buyer, House of the Dragon Series 2 and The Nevers (HBO). I am a member of the Screenskills HETV Job Share Programme and have recently completed the Costume Skills Collective Step Up To Costume Supervising in HETV training course.

My broad experience has provided me with a great understanding of the varying responsibilities and pressures of the department, and I am committed to continuing to build my skillset and experience with a view to progressing to larger scale projects. I am naturally very organised, have an instinctual problem solving approach, and enjoy the responsibilities of more logistical and managerial roles. My particular strengths include great communication skills, meticulous organisation and budget management, script breakdown and continuity including Synconset software, extensive hire store and buying contacts, knowledge of fabrics and components and a strong creative eye. I also have a particular passion for costume history with a BA in History and an MA in Costume Design for Performance, and have lectured in History of Costume for Bristol Old Vic for the past three years.

I am returning to the industry after maternity leave. Due to my new family commitments, I am particularly looking for projects that allow for more flexible working patterns such as job share and part time.
