Camera Operator - HETV, Film
I left the day job as a A Camera Clapper Loader on Series 2 of Blue Lights to take an opportunity on a low budget film. While it was very challenging fitting into a new role among a busy schedule (aren't they all), it felt like I had made the right choice and behind the eyepiece was where I was meant to be. Since taking this risk, I haven't looked back. I have been blessed to work on a Feature Film as the main operator, and 3 HETV productions as B Cam and Steadicam in my first 12 months. I have experience in all the main disciplines: Dolly, Wheels, Steadicam, Handheld. I'm looking forward to the future and what it may bring me.

Clapper Loader - HETV, Film, Commercials
After stepping up to Clapper Loader, I was forced to create new networks and work in other areas of the industry as I found my feet. After the first 12 months which included taking lots of risks and low/no pay projects , I became a regular A Camera Clapper Loader and enjoyed a very busy career working with some of the best crews in the UK - mainly on HETV Drama but also regularly playing smaller parts on Feature Films and some short form content. Apart from doing a major project entirely on film, I think I did basically everything a modern Clapper Loader could do. From multi camera music shows, to HETV dramas, to commercials and promos on Film, Carnets and working abroad. It was during this time that I really set my heart on Operating, and Steadicam. I took personal responsibility for the smooth running of the department between both ourselves and on the production side, and gained a good reputation amongst Project Managers (I hope!) with more than one putting me in contact with new crews and more work over the years.

Camera Trainee - HETV, Film
Started my career before leaving Bournemouth University in Summer 2015. Worked my way up from Dailies & short form projects to quickly becoming a full time Camera Trainee that was given many opportunitues to step up as a Clapper Loader from my first year. Decided to remain as a trainee for an extra year to really cement my learning and position within HETV as one of the regulars, and stepped up in the first quarter of 2017.
