ScreenSkills have unveiled a new jobs board in response to industry demand.
It invites employers and hirers to submit off-screen opportunities in the screen industries for positions at all experience levels.
Posting jobs will be free to allow the widest possible number of prospective candidates to view and access vacancies.
The launch comes at a time when moves to formalise recruitment in the screen industries, instead of relying on existing contacts or hiring via social media, is widely regarded as being crucial to making the sector more inclusive across all areas of under-representation including gender, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation and those living outside of London.
All jobs posted will be paid opportunities and applying for them will be free. ScreenSkills cannot vet submissions but expects industry to abide by best practice in their hires. Those with recruitment or hiring responsibilities are encouraged to take ScreenSkills’ short, free e-learning module in inclusive hiring for the screen industries
