I am an experienced hair and make up designer, HOD, artist and tutor. I have 25 years experience and started my career with MAC in the USA .My experience with hair and make up has been within tv and film, fashion and bridal. In TV and film I work with all cast and I am very experienced working with black skin and hair. I have several years in education, working within prisons and with 16-18 with behavioural difficulties teaching personal and social development and also working as a private tutor teaching a beginners make up class. As a HOD/Designer I like to create a calm efficient environment and team, creating a space where cast feel comfortable. I like to work in a collaborative manner with production, cast and other departments as I believe it is paramount for the success of the production and for my team and I to create innovative looks which produce believable characters through the visual storytelling of their hair and make up.
