About
I am currently working on a number of freelance contracts in video editing and post-production. I am also attached to a number of short film projects (narrative & documentary) in various stages of development production. In addition to this work, I produce promotional videos and design web content for a variety of clients through my own production company.
I began my creative journey as a musician. This introduced me to creative workflow at an early age - writing; arranging; performing; recording; promotion etc.
While living in Australia in 2007, I found myself working on the set of HBO’s WW2 mini-series The Pacific. Inspired by this experience, I returned home to Ireland and enrolled at Dublin City University in their Multimedia degree programme - B.Sc.(Hons).
Since graduating in 2011, I have continued to develop my craft with various production and post-production roles: Producer; Assistant Director; Camera Operator; Photographer; Sound Department.
I have performed numerous post-production and promotional tasks on different projects: 2D & 3D Motion Graphics; VFX fixes; Web Design; Digital & Social Marketing strategy.
In 2012 I studied Screen Acting and Film Directing at Filmbase to gain a better understanding of the human side of the craft of Directing. This provide me with an important insight into the process of Acting.
My short film Fat Freddie’s Drop was produced through my company Tonlegee Films (Ltd). It appeared in competition at the Galway Film Fleadh (2015) and was selected into the Cannes Court Métrage (2016). It was broadcast on RTÉ Shortscreen in March 2016 and will be released online in 2017.
