About
I have over 20 years experience in facilitating the process of individuals and groups. The organisations I have worked for are varied and include Exeter City Council, British Association of Dramatherapists, MIND, Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital Wonford (NHS) and University of Exeter.
My way in is to practice and encourage active listening, empowered involvement and unconditional positive regard between participants. Without fail, I have used these powerful tools to facilitate enhanced encounters between group members. The variety of my approaches echoes facilitation styles such as 'Open Space Technology' and 'World Cafe.' I have however, developed my own unique style or working which leans heavily on techniques learned through my practice as a dramatherapist to ensure safety and appropriateness at all times.
I am a responsive practitioner and will create a facilitation package tailored to the needs of your organisation and your participants. My personal performance skills lie within movement, music and voice improvisation. However, if required I can curate and deliver setting, audience and ability appropriate group and/or solo performances in most genres, bringing in other skilled associates when required.
