About
Ever since I can remember, I have used my little sister as a live canvas to create ‘art’ on her. Growing up I would makeover my friends and give them all sorts of weird and wonderful photo shoots. This was back when I didn’t realise you could actually do this as a career and make a living from it!
When I finally noticed that I was pretty much born to be a make-up artist, I decided to pursue it. So in 2010, my professional journey began, I went to learn the basics in London. From then I worked with many talented photographers back in Derby and Nottingham and started building my portfolio whilst gaining experience. Three years later, I went back to college for another year to study a ‘Level 3 Diploma in Make-up Artistry’. From then, I went on to learn hair by completing my ‘Level 2 and 3 NVQ’s in Hairdressing’ and also trained as an ‘Airbase’ airbrushing make-up professional. Since then I have continued to update my skills with short courses such as ' Advanced Barbering' and 'Bridal Hair Certificate'.
I feel extremely grateful to be doing something that I have loved my whole life. I now work on short films, music videos, photo shoots, bridal, whilst aiming to have a career in television.
