About
One of BAFTA Connect 2022 inaugral members, I am a neurodivergent Producer, writer, performer and designer who trained at RADA. I co-founded Hot Coals Productions in 2012 with co-founder Clare-Louise English.
In that time I produced 3 critically acclaimed theatre productions:
Storm in a Teacup 2014-15
Finders Keepers 2015-16
Knock Knock 2017- 2018
All funded by Arts Council England from R&D through to regional touring and London runs.
In 2020 I produced my first short film "My Darling Christopher" which went on to screen at 20 film festivals worldwide including BAFTA Qualifying London Short Film Festival. It won 7 awards including Best International short at Idyllwild International Festival of Cinema and gained a further 10 nominations/finalist status.
I also co-produced educational video "A New Kind of Normal" with Kathy Haywood (School Poet) which combined BSL, SSE, animations and creative subtitles.
In 2022 I co-produced with Bridge06 (Sara Johnson) the "About Time" event, funded by ITV and Disney UK and was hosted at BAFTA. The event was a celebration of Deaf, disabled and/or neurodivergent talent in TV.
I also produced 2 further shorts "Indefinitely" and "We Care" completed in Dec22. So far Indefinitely has gained 6 nominations and won the Vanguard Award at Idyllwild Festival 2023 and We Care has been officially selected for Romford Film Festival 2023.
