A mature trainee hair and makeup artist based in the north west with 20 years previous experience of face and bodypaiinting. I have a Diploma in TV, Film and fashion make-up, hairstyling, wig work, period hairstyles and hair cutting, including VRQ Level 2 Barbering from School of Makeup, Manchester.  I have work experience in costume drama and children's and reality TV as well as music and corporate video.   I have over 20 years' experience as a commercial face and body painter.   Calm under pressure and an enthusiastic team worker, I am seeking opportunities both for work experience and trainee roles within broadcast media in which I can use my organisational skills to provide support to a busy hair and makeup team.  I am keen to build on my fledgling skills in maintaining continuity files, cleaning and ordering kit and workstations, understanding script and character breakdown and learning to second guess the needs of my peers in order to become a useful member of the hair and makeup team.
