Principal Lecturer / Academic Lead (Film & TV)
Ben has many years experience as a Lecturer in the Television & Film sector and is currently Course Leader for BA (Hons) Film Production, which has been accredited by SceenSkills Select (formally Creative Skillset) since 2012.
Ben also has extensive experience as a Broadcast Television Lighting Cameraman for a whole range of UK and international broadcasters, independent production companies, corporate clients and charities including BBC, ITV, Endemol, BSKYB, Disney, Granada, RDF, shooting news, TV factual, documentaries, live TV shows, sport, drama, music videos, commercials and corporate productions. Ben is also an experienced Steadicam Operator.
Ben formally had the role of Head of Production/Producer-Director for an independent production company based in Central London, where he produced documentaries, branded content and business programming for leading UK and International clients, brands and charities filming projects extensively in UK, Europe and US.
Ben is a full member of GTC (The Guild of Television Camera Professionals), which is an international organisation that represents experienced camera professionals in all areas of film, television and broadcasting.
