This page is where you can book on to all our ‘Select Sessions’ – the exclusive employability events we’ll be holding throughout the year. They offer you opportunity to hear directly from industry experts and ask questions live.

Keep a ScreenSkills profile

You’ll need to make a ScreenSkills account to complete the e-learning but there are huge benefits once you do. Creating a ScreenSkills profile means that you can access all of your training certificates, upload your CV and join our community of screen professionals. We will also recommend training, events, programmes, case studies, news stories and other resources relevant to you. So make an account and let us do the work! 

Start completing e-learning modules

If you haven’t already, we recommend that you complete our online learning series Getting in the screen industries. It is designed to help you get your first break. You can explore the various roles, identify the right role for your skills, discover how to find and apply for work, and there are tips to performing well at interview.

We've also created the ScreenSkills Select Industry Insight series, designed to introduce you to skills shortage roles. Every role has three videos to help you to understand the routes in, progression and overall journey.

There are sessions for all areas of the screen industry, including a deep dive into freelancing. We also recommend you check out our freelance toolkit. You can also explore job profiles to identify entry level roles suited to your skills.
