The venue is in 1 Canon's Rd, Bristol BS1 5TX.

Building information and facilities

Lifts

  • The venue has two floors and one lift
  • The lift measurements are 140cm wide, 100cm deep, 200cm high

Stairs

There is a set of wide stairs leading up from the ground floor box office foyer up to the first floor. There are eight stairs, a left turn and then a further 16 stairs with a handrail on both sides all the way..

Toilets

All toilets are on the first floor.

The following are in the top foyer area as you come up the main entrance:

  • two accessible toilets (which also have baby changing facilities);
  • two ambulant toilets; four self-contained toilet rooms with sinks;
  • six self-contained toilets with shared sinks;
  • one family bathroom with baby changing facilities.

Nearer to the Waterside spaces there are a further six women’s toilets with shared sinks and a further three men’s toilets and urinals with shared sinks.

The venue has baby changing facilities on site and these are located on the first floor.

Quiet spaces

A quiet space can be found on the first floor. Please speak to a member of the Watershed events team for more information.

Assistance for guide dogs

The venue will provide water bowls and the nearest green space is Queen’s Square which is a five minute walk.

Hearing aid induction loop

The venue has a hearing aid induction loop. Waterside 2 and Waterside 3 event spaces have induction loops. Speak to a member of the Watershed events team who will be able to assist you in finding details to tune to the induction loop.

Wheelchair accessibility

The venue is fully accessible for users with a wheelchair. There is a wheelchair accessible entrance on the ground floor foyer, where the public lift is also located. There will be space set aside for wheelchair users in the event spaces.
